I get alerts from facebook for another Mary Davidson who entered my e mail (mary.davidson@gmail.com) as hers in facebook. I have tried several times to get this corrected but it seems there is no way with facebook. I also get e mails form various "mary davidsons" whose friends, car dealers, web developers etc. are careless and leave out whatever the modifier is for that "mary davidson". I just ignore most of these e mails now. The problem is both Kris and myself were too clever and as early adopters of g mail we could use out name without a modifying number or letter and didn't think of the possibility of others sloppy typing.

I have been getting her google alerts for over a year. I'm familiar with who she is. (I have google alerts for our shared name, I don't care about her but I watch for my name lol) Repeated attempts via email do nothing. Mostly it's just annoying. I may send her a letter.
