It was replaced once, and apparently that is how they handle situations like this. I'm just very happy to have a phone that I do not have to keep tethered to a power source

OK. So far. I have not been able to drain my iPhone 6 S battery below 57 or 55% over the course of the day. With my iPhone five I would have to charge it two times in one day in order to keep it usable. This is such a joy. I still would wish for more battery life. But I am tickled pink to have as much as I do.
