If one reads history the it can be found that a pioneer in home computers in UK, Sir Clive Sinclair,  started working on a transportation device, after having launched a very successful computation device. This was in 1980s.

Perhaps computation and conveyance devices have some link.
One makes imagination /mind move around and the other body move around.
