A wrist strap won't prevent a drop, unless you never remove the device from the strap.

As a certified butterfingers, I'd probably throw the device across the room while fumbling the strap off my wrist :o(

i've become a butterfingers in my late 60s...i drop everything...i need a good iphone case that has a wrist strap or a lanyard (or both!) so i can decrease chances that i will drop my phone to the concrete below...there are lots of options for the product i need but they are so numerous it's hard to know which one is high quality...any suggestions?
