Chronological. Mine get ordered chronologically. Makes sense to me. The camera assigns the data in the metadata and the name is some generic image420.jpg to image666.jpg scheme certainly they are both based upon order but since the time is inherently ordered by its very nature then the photos get ordered based upon time and in fact photos creates loose groups based upon time too. So. Without researching the solution or getting out of my pajamas my initial thought is to change the meta data on the photos. I'm sure there is a better solution though.

When I put images in pictures on iPad, they get put in some order which I can not understand
