Re: [iPad] Apple Music Revenue Share to Music Labels, Publishers Explained | Re/code

It's nitpicking, maybe, but the Apple "Music" app is intrusive:  it keeps grabbing the audio output on my iPhone even if it's not been used recently.  I constantly have to either open it and stop what it's playing or manually start another audio app over the top if it.

My telco is now offfering free premium Spotify on the $29 and up mobile plans. Noted I have never bothered with streaming music apps, but I will give Spotify and Apple a go. I assume... that I can choose the song or album I want to stream, and that I can download to my phone as well. If that is correct for both, the only thing I will check is the ease of use of the UI, and the sound quality

Any info/comments on the ease of use of the UI and sound quality for Spotify and Apple?

I don't care for Spotify & was only commenting on the trial periods I've used.  Tidal is the only new-to-me service that I've tried in a long time and I didn't think it was worth the money.  I'm looking forward to trying out Apple Music and, if I like it, I'll cancel my Rhapsody subscription.

I know we have a free month spotify trial that we can offer here at sprint.  Maybe you should call att and specifically ask them? Maybe it's not an "advertised" promotion but it's maybe still a promotion??

This article and many others that I've read like it say that "most services offer a one month trial period".  I have subscribed to five different services over the years and have never been offered a free trial period of more than one week as my memory serves me.
