iTunes Match streams the music from the cloud, not the wifi HD sitting in my house when I'm on the road.

Well, yes and no.
Why isn't an "iPod Classic" an "i-anything"?
And you can get an iPhone or iPad with 128 GB.
And a Wifi external drive with 1 TB.
