That's interesting.  I know nothing about the pigments used in tattoos and had no idea about their opacity.  Thanks for the explanation, Jim.  Do you think they will be able to find a fix for this issue and do you have any idea what that would be?


The only fixes that occur to me are the user finding an area where it works, and Apple using different wavelengths of light, which (1) might not work anyway, and (2) isn't a software fix for existing production units. 

Then there is laser tattoo removal…
