Re: [iPad] Apple May Have Dropped a Huge Hint About Its Next New Product - TheStreet

Your quite lucky, its one streamer device (amongst many) that supports a lot of content.

My Apple TV3 in NZ, has Youtube. Most other content is US based, unusable here.  Although as of a few days ago we have Netflix NZ. No ability to add new streaming sites as Apple will invite, we cannot ask.

I have to use an iPad to stream the others we have, and the FTA (free to air) SVOD won't allow airplay

So its a bit messy here, and they wionder wht "alternative sources" are still well used

Our ATV is all we have, except for overtheair. I don't watch TV, but my wife does, and she's been happy without cable.

Of course, ATV is just one streamer in a crowded field.
