Yeah, that, too.  May they never forget that it's the interoperability that puts them out front, along with the good design and engineering.  I continue to worry about Tim Cooke's priorities.  More sizes!  More colors!  More celebrity tie-ins!

But I'm not depressed :o)

The fallacy in that, Kris, I think, is that people will latch on to whatever's hot, whether or not it has much value.  Their "need" is social and ephemeral and learned.

Historically in many cases people asked or wanted what they wanted but apple bucked that and crafted products people didn't know they wanted until they saw what apple created. Then they wanted THAT.
