1. At home I use my iPad more than my laptop for bits and bobs as it's quicker to switch itself on. I had a couple of emails from someone which I opened and read as normal. When I downloaded them to my laptop I got a message that the sender asked for a read receipt. Why doesn't the iPad ask for them?
2. I get a fair bit of junk mail from people trying to convince me they're from PayPal and iTunes etc. I open some of them as I think they're funny with the dreadful grammar and spelling. I have a feeling that if I open them on my laptop the sender knows the email has been read. Is it the same with opening emails on the iPad?
Thanks,
Janet.
