Your iOS device (any and all of them) does have an up to date manual which you can download for free in either iBooks or PDF format. The manuals you're reading are aftermarket user guides which may not be accurate. Get the right manual!

That's the problem with technology. Products seldom come with manuals, at least not with adequate ones. So one must wait for the 'missing manual' equivalent. If you don't buy the most recent book then it's condense are like reading texts on Swiss Cheese. with some things being missing and some wrong. Maybe rhinology's real purpose is to sell manuals. And one ends up having to buy several to get the whole story. :-(
