It does, Jim, and it is very annoying. We've noticed that even if you pay attention to the orientation, it doesn't always do the trick. Sometimes it does, though, so it is inconsistent. -------Original Message------- Date: 27.07.2014 22:13:25 Subject: Re: [iPad] Upside Down Photo > This is something that has been going on for ages, Jimbo. It's an EXIF issue and is only a problem with Windows machines. I'm assuming that's what your friends have. The pictures come in sideways or upside-down on a regular basis. The EXIF data provided by Apple includes an "Orientation" parameter. I guess that some Windows software ignores it. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jim Saklad mailto:jimdoc@icloud.com ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ Yahoo Groups Links <*> To visit your group on the web, go to: <*> Your email settings: Individual Email | Traditional <*> To change settings online go to: (Yahoo!
