| This is something that has been going on for ages, Jimbo. It's an EXIF issue and is only a problem with Windows machines. I'm assuming that's what your friends have. The pictures come in sideways or upside-down on a regular basis. I have found a pretty reliable way to get around this. All you have to do before sending a photo is edit it--either crop it, even if you only crop a tiny amount, or do some other editing step--and for some reason it will be right-side up, also on Windows. I did the necessary to put the image on an email form. I sent the email. In my iPaid mail, the picture looked fine. On my iMac, the picture looked fine on my received email.
