that's very interesting and something I hadn't heard about. My
mother-in-law's computer is stock Win7 and that's how it works for her.
Most of my extended family has iPhones and whenever any of us send her
a picture it displays upside down or sideways and she's learned how to
rotate them.

I use IrfanView which allows me to do the same thing.
