You must call Verizon customer service to get the iPad activated on their network. It's done very quickly.

I have a vague memory that this has been discussed but can't find it. My husband recently got an ipad from his brother that is verizon capable. It is not set up for service yet. I would like to set it up for him, but I remember someone talking about there were 2 ways to set it up and one way was better than the other. Can someone advise me?
Thanks!
Julie
