Re: [iPad] Searching for LOCATION SERVICES

I agree with Pete. The most recent manual is going to be the one on your iPad.

I know it's hard to read a manual and then try the functions they describe. Sometimes I use my desktop computer to read the manual, while I try the features.

One thing you might want to consider, is to pay a teenager! Do you know of any patient, tech-savvy teenagers that want to make some easy money? You would be surprised how much easier it is to pick up some of the tips and tricks by being shown how to do them. I often share little tips to new iPad/iPhone users that will make navigation easier.

Your iOS device (any and all of them) does have an up to date manual which you can download for free in either iBooks or PDF format.  The manuals you're reading are aftermarket user guides which may not be accurate.  Get the right manual!

That's the problem with technology. Products seldom come with manuals, at least not with adequate ones. So one must wait for the 'missing manual' equivalent. If you don't buy the most recent book then it's condense are like reading texts on Swiss Cheese. with some things being missing and some wrong. Maybe rhinology's real  purpose is to sell manuals. And one ends up having to buy several to get the whole story. :-(
