I love the case that Apple sells that encloses the Mini. It adds almost no weight, and it is so easy to stick the Mini in my purse and off I go. I have dropped a previous Mini with the case that just covers the front. It landed on the corner and ended up with a tiny chip on the case but you can hardly tell, nothing at all to the screen. This bigger case would prevent that. It is called a Smart Case and costs about $69.

I would appreciate some recommendations for a case for my new iPad mini (retina display). I am looking for a case that provides some protection, but does not add too much weight.
