Re: [iPad] WWDC

Yes, and as societies age, there will be lots more aging eyes.  I suppose Silicon Valley, in its yuppiness, might make the gray world seem to disappear.

That's probably one argument for a bigger iPhone screen, but Apple needs to be Apple inventive about it, not simply to make a me-too device that's too big for anything but a purse.  This lack of profound innovation may be where the company will continue to suffer from the absence of a big-picture, out-of-the-box guy like Steve Jobs.

I don't think they realize (and Apple is not alone in this among
not-just-tech-cos) that not all their customers/readers have "young eyes".

They need to run things by the Grandma Set. That is, unless they want to
deter the not-young/not-hip types.

They also need to realize that not all their customers have NBA-size
hands -- notice how they show things off using a large man's hand? never a
smaller woman?

I saw a lot of features on Yosemite I'm dying to have plus little things,
like I get my dark dock back. Some stuff I won't like, like missing scroll
bars. I hate the pale colors of scroll bars and who can read Icalendar ? I
wonder if they have given up a way to darken and size up the fonts there? It
would be nice to be able to read my calendar events on iMac with either
squinting or looking for my reading glasses
