You can sync pictures from your computer to your iPad using iTunes.

I have the Apple transfer device with lighting connector at one end and the SD card slot at the other.  It works well for transferring images from an SD card, taken directly from my camera, into my iPad with iOS7.  However, if I load image files from my computer (many originating from a CF card) onto a new SD card, I can find no way to get them to transfer into my iPad.  What am I missing here ?
