I can't think of anything other than the volume switch that would do that. The other sounds you described will still work even if the volume is set to mute.

Hi folks:
I've recently lost volume on any voice app, YouTube, Vimeo, whatever. All other sounds, clicking, swoosh, etc are normal. I've poked around in settings, but can find no cure. Help appreciated.
