To the person who asked about deleting library ebooks from the Kindle Cloud app:
I can't delete them from my iPad Kindle Cloud app, either. I have found in the past that calling Amazon can be helpful. If you find a solution, let us know :)
For me, I find it helpful to have the book there so I don't accidentally buy it again from another ebook site, lol
