As wll as two softwares doing the same job at the same time, they will conflict, probably causing occasional errors and/or non response. And as mentioned, there is no need to AV on an iPad. I believe OSX has one inbuilt

Yesterday I signed up for Avast Total support after dealing with a pesky computer problem and wound up installing mobile protection in my phone.  I already had AVG protection in it.Do virus protection programs compete in phones as they do in computers and are they as hard to uninstall from phones as they are from computers?I know this is an Ipad forum but thought someone would have a good answer.Isabel
