Quite a bit of the different British accents I can understand. Cockney not being one of them unless they speak slow. I really like BBC America. A lot of good shows.

When I was talking to my friend she said she was satisfied with my recommendation and liked the garbage man but she couldn't understand much of what he said as he had a heavy southern accent on top of missing some teeth. Later on when I was paying the garbage man the subject of my neighbor came up and he said she was a really nice lady but he couldn't understand much of what she said.
