Re: [iPad] mail question - msg rejected by the server

Thanks.  But I wonder.  It just happened again.  This time, the message said that the server didn't allow relaying.  Repeated tries elicited the same message.  But after I'd killed the mail process and restarted it, I could force the message out.

I guess I'm wondering if this may have sth to do with 7.1.

The recipients email server must have been down. Our exchange was down a few weeks ago from 10am to 6pm. Most messages were received by our spam/email service app and queued until Exchange was back online. At least one party reported receiving a message similar to yours where the email was not received. Probable cause was the queuing service was overwhelmed by the number of requests during a period of time and simply rejected some, but was clear to the sender that the message was not sent to they had the opportunity to resend when possible.
