> Not exactly an app, but a book you can read in the Kindle App. I workout according to "Body by Science" by Doug Mc Guff, M.D. I'm 76 now so it takes me about 10 days to recover completely from one workout, and I do experience mild muscle soreness for about a week but my workouts last about 25 minutes for one set of 5 exercises. I routinely handle 40 lb bags of Dr. Elsey's cat litter with one hand for loading it into the trunk of the car & I workout with twice the weight of most of the 30 somethings I'm following on the machines at the gym.
Speaking as a (69-year-old) physician, if it takes you a week to recover, you are doing too much.
