I've been on AT&T since my first iPhone in January 2009, when only AT&T was available.
But last year when I upgraded my original iPad to what was then the newest, I got a Verizon iPad. Now I can get data coverage for both devices anywhere that EITHER AT&T *or* Verizon have coverage.
