> Yes you can. I do it all the time between my iPhone and iPad. I have friends that do it between iPhone/iPad/computer. The kindle app keeps a copy in the cloud. Just sign in to the kindle app on your computer with the same sign in you use on your other devices.

In fact you can choose to set them up so they automatically synchronize place marks -- so when your actual Kindle isn't handy, you can run the App in the computer or the iPad and it will pick up exactly where you left off reading on the kindle.
