Very concise.
I will share a clever trick though. Deregister a device. Then login and register the device with a friends Amazon id. Then grab some of their books from the cloud. Then deregister it again and register/login with your Amazon id. Then you will have your books plus the friends book you downloaded. On Fri, Aug 23, 2013 at 12:52 AM, David Smith <david.smith.14916@gmail.com> wrote:
Or to put it slightly differently, you can always download your amazon purchases to any device.--david@luda.netpad4Basically anything you download for free or paid goes to the "Amazon Cloud".Once in the "Amazon Cloud" you can download any book/item to any Kindle Device you have or any Kindle App on PC, Mac, Android, iPad, whatever. Once downloaded to a specific app or device it stays there till you remove it. Of course anything you buy -- free or paid -- will always be in the cloud to be retrieved on any device you own or any App you run on any hardware (Windows, Mac, Android, iPad).

What is going on? for the last week or so I am getting much less mail from this list. I am disappointed.
I do have a question though. If I put the Kindle app on my Kindle, iPad, and computer and I download a book;for example, could I download the same thing on each device? What is the difference between paid and free items?
