Cloud is cool, but it doesn't suit everyone for various reasons. I use it for sync contacts, book page placing, photostream, etc, but for my files, I want them when I want them and that means now!   :-)

Power cuts due to failure inside/outside the home or a natural event, failed or failing router, internet/wifi  issue where you are going that you know has internet to name some.

So long as apps and data can always be brought down from the cloud, why keep tons of stuff locally?
