Re: [iPad] Copy iPad 2 content to iPad 4

That's the same principle as subscription vs buying music.  I don't know why people want to keep paying for the music they listen to instead of buying it once and listening to it for free after that. I still buy all my music, usually through iTunes now that is DRM free.

Which is less expensive -- a 128GB iCloud account or an initial purchase
of between $800 and $950 (for the 3G model)?

128GB of storage at iCloud is expensive and it's an ongoing expense
(subscription). Buying a large storage amount and keeping your content
with you is much cheaper.

And I could use 128GB of storage easily -- my sheet-music reading app
(forScore) has 16GB of data I've loaded into it, my Kindle app has over
2GB of unread books in it, I have no music nor videos stored on my 64GB
iPad and it's full, with quite a few apps I would love to have on it but
can't due to not enough storage space.

I'll buy a 128GB (or even a 256GB iPad if one becomes available) as soon
as I can save up for it.
