[iPad] Re: Off topic ramble

Nothing wrong with having your puppy on his back lying in your arms, or on your lap. That is not flipping. Flipping is taking an,upright puppy and forcing him against his will on his back struggling.
See the difference?
And KLM, I don't know anything about pit bulls, but I thought they used to be called the Nanny Dog. I guess not so much any more if you have to worry about him killing you.
And your dad should have been arrested and charged with child and animal cruelty. What a terrible thing to do to a 6-year-old.

To those who do the old dominance-style training out of concern that our dog will take over the household -- at least you are training and care enough to give your dogs the best that you know how. You represent the old Koehler-style training. I prefer to work with my dogs, and they will do anything for me.

Why is it unacceptable to flip a dog? I even do that with little dogs. Mine get so they fall asleep in my arms on their backs.

It's an acceptable way to make sure a 120lb pit bull won't kill you
