Some time ago I ordered a bag for my iPad and I ordered a second strap, thinking I might be glad to have it some day.  The day has come!  I got a Laurel Burch padded iPad case that is really perfect for the iPad, even with a smart cover on it.  What I really wanted, though, was a bag with a shoulder strap so I could carry the iPad around with me.  Enter that strap.  I took it and the bag plus two key rings to a shoemaker/house key maker yesterday and asked if he could put a leather loop on each side of the iPad case as close to the edge as possible.  See the result in the  attached photos.  Sorry the pics aren't better, but we are having a very cold, dreary day in Basel  today, so I just hung thebag from the cat tower on the balcony and took 2 quick snapshots.  You can find all kinds of nice bags--not just cats!--on eBay or other online places that you could do this with.
