Ok, just played wi it a little and now I see that one option is to open in safari which then allows me to open in Dropbox. I'll look for the PDF app too. Thanks.

Are you using the Gmail app, because when I press down on attached document I see other options than "Print" in the Mail app? ("Open in Pages". "Mail", "Quick Look", "Open in Smart Office 2", "Open in Epson iPrint", "Open in Dropbox", "Open in iCabMobile", and "Open in Google Drive".Ted

Subject: [iPad] Saving a file from an email
I have the iPad 3. I wanted to save a doc file that was in an email but was unable to figure out how to do so. Ideally I would have turned it into a PDF and put it on forScore, but any way to be able to view it offline would do. The only choice was print. Any ideas?
