Blame the govermenent for subsidizing flood plain insurance. Blame the corps for not checking the dikes. The corps didn't check the dikes near my moms house. Didn't warn them when the opened the damn to relieve pressure. Made an island out of her house. The island was ok the lack of helpful evacuation notice was bull crap. Also blame Louisiana for not responding faster. It's not the Feds responsibility to respond to state issues like this. Sure. They do when the state acts all ostridge but first person to act should be neighbors then city the countyv(parish) then star and as a last resort Feds.
