Re: [iPad] OT: Windows 8

Same here. I plug in overnight. Its become a habit to do so. I plug in in the car. That's also become a habit. I usually have my Noogie case on my iPhone but not always turned on. IPhone 5 Mophie case hasn't come out yet.

Of course. Every room in my house has plugs. My car has excellent 12v to 5.1v 2amp adapter. Why would I not take advantage of them?

Starbucks, Drs Office, Dentist Office, My Mom's HMO appts, my desk at work all have plugs. Why would I not take advantage of them?

Because it's largely unnecessary?
If I were driving to one of my doctors' offices, or taking someone to their medical appointment, my iPhone would be plugged in in the car as I drove, and would be fully charged when I got there. Knowing that when I left that location, it would be plugged in again as soon as I start the car, why would I bother to go to the trouble of (a) bringing my AC charger with me into the office, and (b) scrounging around under the chairs in the waiting room to find somewhere to plug it in?

I even have a battery based charger if needed...

Yep. Haven't needed it in months.
Just charged *it* up fully right before Hurricane Sandy.

When I have a device I want to be fully charged anytime I might go away from plugs keeping them plugged in when possible is just common sense.

My common sense says to me "Why complicate your life for no practical gain?"
I don't find I need to keep iDevices plugged in all the time in order to have enough charge to use them as I need; I plug them in before I expect to have a heavy need and no AC, and I plug them in overnight.
