The iPad 2, which some of us raved about not so very long ago, is 132 PPI.

And a number of people commented that the iPad 3, at 264 PPI, didn't really look significantly better to them than the iPad 2 did.

The Mini is 163 PPI -- which is more than 50% more pixels per SQUARE inch than the iPad 2.
