Have you rebooted the Mac or mail app? This in on new rule creation? Maybe try creating new ones...

Ever since I set up the iPad mini, my mail folders haven't worked. I see them in the mail app on the iPad mini. I can move emails into the different folders manually. The emails just won't use the rules and automatically move to the folders when I go into each folder.

I never saw the need to use rules with folders until I joined this group. This group is super active and I like reading most, if not all, the messages that come across uninterrupted. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
