Re: [iPad] Fight! Amazon Takes the Gloves off Against Apple’s iPad Mini

I haven't tried the Fire HD and really don't have any desire to do so. I'm very happy with my iPad and I can still read my extensive Kindle library.

Since then, the Fire HD 7" has come out with improvements. This would be the 2nd generation Fire. You dislike the original Fire, but have you tried the Fire HD 7"?

I guess hate is a really strong word but dislike really isn't strong enough to express how I feel about the Kindle Fire. If there was a word in the middle that would suffice I would use it. Yes, I definitely prefer the iPad it is very intuitive, very easy to use and if I can't remember where I put an app I can search. I don't find the Fire very intuitive, it is a good ereader but even that function could be improved.
