My, that was quick. Thank you!
Carolyn
She will be able to use your cord to charge her iPod. The issue isn't actually a problem with the cord, but rather with the USB port that you plug it into. Some computers don't provide as much power to their USB ports as others, and the iPad takes a good bit of juice. If you have another computer, you could try plugging it into that to see if it works better. But even though it says "Not Charging", it is probably just charging slowly. If you left it plugged in overnight, I suspect that it would still charge a good bit, and that is what I would personally try. If it doesn't charge fast enough that way, then you can pick up another wall charger on Amazon, at your Apple store, or probably at Target/Best Buy, etc.Good luck!April

Hi,I've always recharged my iPad (first version) through an outlet, not through my computer. My daughter was leaving the country with her iPod and asked if she could take the outlet cord with her and she'd leave me the computer cord she used to recharge her iPod. I didn't see a problem with it -- we'd recharged her iPod using my outlet cord before, and I assumed the opposite would be true. But when I plugged my iPad into this computer, the upper right battery icon said "Not charging." Are these cords truly not interchangeable? Is she traveling outside the country unable to recharge her iPod? Am I destined not to use my iPad until she returns with my cord?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Carolyn
