Hi.
I am having trouble upgrading my iPad to the newest firmware. I tried doing it in my old iTunes and it said that I needed Version 10.something in order to d/l the 4.2 firmware. So, I installed the latest iTunes (10.1.1.4 I think) and downloaded the 4.2 firmware to the iPad.
It got stuck 90% through and iTunes locked up. I unhooked the iPad and tried rebooting it (several times). It gets stuck near the end (the bar is 90% filled).
I hook it back up to iTunes and it attempts to "back up" and then gets stuck. And, my iPad is stuck.
Am I running too new of a version in iTunes? I know there were messages on this in the past but I cannot find them now.
Thanks in advance.
