Yup.
As mentioned does all kinds of stuff.
Have used for years so use to it. Will do an auto fix, grayscale, color corrections. Mostly I use to do easy adjustments and for reducing size for email. Other programs like Lightbox Image or Paint.net maybe better? for fixing photos but haven't taken the time to learn as Irfan does what I need 99%, is really, really fast to boot and work. As mentioned I'll use for almost anything it has plugins for. Like the pocketknife you carry in pocket or purse. Won't build a house but does so much and easy to carry.

Only thing to remember, if you change a photo, do a "Save As" and new name. Believe, not certain, it will copy over your original file otherwise. It may give a warning, but not positive.

Worth the download time. Get all the plugins too.

Photoshop Elements is nice. Costco or Amazon usually has a good price.

Some Free stuff to look at. Look at reviews and comments on a site like http://www.techsupportalert.com
Picturenaut
LightBox Image Editor
Paint.net
I like IrfanView. With the ton of plugins use it for viewing all kinds of files, txt, pdf, jpeg... Does quick color adjustments, cropping, turning. Even use to play wav and mp3 files. It may even do video playing. It is fast. If it doesn't do what I need then I go to Elements, Paint.net or something on the iPad.
