"So I wait to see what people here like."
-------------------
It's soooooo subjective. I have games like Tetris and Monopoly and Scrabble. My fav game is Plants Vs Zombies, second is Fruit Ninja. My kids love Tom the Cat and Hungry Shark and Angry Birds. (I know Angry Birds is a popular one, but I suck at it and I hate it! lol) I do love Pocket Frogs, tho, and that was free. I like Labyrinth on iPad a lot. Totally fun.
My husband's favorites are Pottery and Zen Bound. Artistic type apps. And Guitar Hero. He also has Star Chart and SkyOrb and more educational ones.
I have things like Allrecipes and Epicurious, too. And Errands and Budget. He's got ETrade on his.
We have some shared apps we like - the Red Wings one (I have to use the iphone one, because they still don't have it for ipad dangit) and Netflix and Pandora. And Wikipanion, Dictionary and iThesaurus. And Amazon and Ebay.
He has just Kindle on his for books, but I have all of them - Stanza, Bluefire, iBooks, Nook, Borders, Kobo, you name it. And I still do most of my reading on my Kindle, but I like to have access to my books if I want them, and i like to be able to buy "free" books from any site in any format.
We also have different Wallpaper apps (different aesthetic sensibilities).
What else do people like? It's interesting to hear what's on someone else's iPad... it's like looking into someone's medicine cabinet or something. :)

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart,
and you shall see that in truth
you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
