Are u saying it would not start even when recharged?  I frequently drain mine down until it starts fussing about low battery which I dismissed.  Next day I just plugged into charger & was good to go - with a partial charge - in 1/2 hour.

My son over use one of ipad to the brink of no return a few times. Made me panic every time he drained the battery till it got no more juice. I had to jump start it with a plug to my Mac then it would start again.

Yesterday morning I pressed the startup button on the top of my ipad, but it did not wake up, I tried the round button at the bottom with no joy. Help!

When I last used the ipad the previous evening, it was on about 23% battery, so I plugged it in to recharge overnight.

Please send no flowers, but any advice, before a return to the Apple Store funeral home would be appreciated
