I was on oral for a long time. Then when I reached the maximum does on oral they added insulin - a small dosage once a day. Then after I quit drinking last April my BG went down & they took me off of insulin. I still haven't had a drink since last April but my BG has been bouncing in the morning.

Still it's exogenous insulin. The delivery is nicer though with the pump. Were you on Oral hypoglycemic meds and thinking you have to go to shots? Or on a pump and having insurance issues?
