Bear in mind, the case you choose will have to allow a clean docking connection.
I use the Mareware CEO-Hybrid, and had to 'modify' the area around the dock connector for the kit.
I park the SD Card reader in, then the card from my camera. It launches the photos, and gives me the option of importing, deleting the photos on the card. I've had no trouble. Just needed to learn patience to let it all work. :-)
