Bummer, I didn't see the background. But then I'm on my laptop right now so maybe I have a different setting and just didn't see the background. Just my opinion, but no harm no foul. We all make misteaks.  ;–}

This is being typed using Dragon Dictate.  Dragon Dictate allows you to talk and the computer to type your words as you speak. Any arrows, I will blame on the soft wear. ;-)

AFAIK you can run it while charging.
 
I often unplug before fully charged & so far it doesn't seem to have hurt
any of my iToys.
 
BTW it's easier to read messages in plain text. A busy background is as bad
as micro-print. Some people will skip anything that's hard(er) to read as
being just too much trouble.
