[iPad] Re: iOS 13 problem update — FYI

I still have Upgrade.

Mail - Deleted messages return to inbox but some were blank when opened.

Unable to type text when in new message or replying when insertion point is just above the virtual keyboard.

More clicks to move a mail to another mailbox, am I not seeing something?

Messages - can no longer expand photos for better viewing.

Reminders-

can't edit or delete a reminder.

Multiple reminders for same event.

Did Upgrading to the new iOS made my iMac and MacBook Pro obsolete when using reminders?

IPad OS - slideshow unresponsive after starting in Photos.

Apps crashing.

Notes were not syncing between Apple devices I signed out of iCloud and then back in. Took a few hours for syncing to return.

New notes may disappear.

Calendar:  entries into calendar do not always appear, even after repeated attempts.   Not syncing with iPad.

Is there a difference between the NOTES FOLDER AND ICLOUD FOLDER?

ICloud seems very slow.

My iPhone Xr battery normally drained to mid 70's at most , now into 40's and 50's.

—————

After my unsuccessful attempts to fix problems with Reminders in IOS 13 messed up my phone number assignments on iPads/iPhones and started draining the battery on my iPhone 7 and Watch 3, I called Apple support.

Three exhausting hours and two techs later, Reminders remains non-functional, but my phone number problems have been resolved. Batteries are still draining much faster than usual, but that may be due to a Settings problem since wiping all Settings on the iPhone was one of the attempts at a fix for Reminders which didn't work. I tried to reset them, but perhaps some unnecessary battery-draining Setting is still turned on.

The records of our fruitless attempts to get Reminders working have been sent to the engineers. I am supposed to receive an update call from the Senior tech later this week.

Bottom line? I wish I hadn't updated to iOS before searching the web to see what problems had yet to be solved. I have learned an important lesson, WAIT!
