Specialists can be insensitive technicians. I wonder whether maybe most of them dislike people. I had the feeling with a cardiologist not long ago that in seeing me he was just getting an post-procedure obligation out of the way and did not want to deal with my list of questions. Good reason to have a gatekeeper physician to bounce back to, someone who is both smart and willing to listen and to talk things over. Modern medicine is offensively impersonal. Best of luck.

Re: [iPad] IPhone x icons

Multiplies move well in folders.... but fussy must be put in folders. My new technique is only 15 icons and the test in a folder a huge single because I'm mostly gunna search instead of play hide and seek anyway

Whats the easiest way to move icons from one page to another on iPhone x? I long hold until they jiggle. I can now move them on that page but they will not go to the next page. I tried hooking yo to the computer using itunes. No ipone listef so i am updating itunes hoping that will work.  IF  i can figure out how that works.

Thanks for any assistance.

Not much. My apple stuff is so old not a single thing is updateable. Even my iPhone 6s is left out because it's not a plus. Been futzing a lot with Debian Linux. Parrot specifically . It runs nice old hardware. I'm working on disability these days. I've been experiencing ever increasing amounts  of seizures. Doc was surprised I don't have more. Meh. I'm not impressed. Debian is fun but not a single thing is as cool as airplay and I can't get a decent work around. Anyway how's everyone else? Anything new? Anything old? Lol .

Well that's good to hear. Man they sure are built to last. I can't be happier my 2006 iMac is still going lol it's a beast. Screen doesn't work but I can control that via my mini. Not sure why the mini doesn't want to take to the external monitor.

Boy I had a sweet freaking or still have but it's wonky now sweet apple pro display the 2003 I think but freaking huge. It fell and had a bright rainbow spot it's so heavy but yea I miss that.

I digress.

Cheers

Nothing new here. Still using an old iPad Air, and perfectly happy with it... 13 slowed it noticeably, but not fatally. Still paying off my iPhone 8+.. Perfectly adequate for everything. My three-year-old beefed up PC still sings. The very old Mac Book Air music server just keeps chugging along

Re: [iPad] How is everyone?

I was born with a schizencephaly and always lucked out and had non existent or ultra light seizures. Things change and age I guess and now I'm able to notice them. The less active I am the more active they are. I'm trying to get more back into computers and whatnot as a way to naturally help them stay at bay. It's a long process in getting meds because first doctors must listen and part of my ever increasing quirk lust is sounding know it all or pushy in some situations. A schizophrenia diagnosis also came with the seizures the MRI and accompanying  stuffs are coming but not completed. It's been an interesting road of discovery and getting assistance. I'm hanging in there.

Re: [iPad] Duplicate holidays in Calendar on iPads and iPhone

Usually in mine it's because I subscribed to it twice without knowing lol I will uncheck one and the duplicate actually fixes itself not just by not appearing but toggle action seems to flush something so maybe it can help you.

Hi guys:

I posted this question recently in the new groups.io but haven't seen it appear yet. Maybe I did something wrong.

Anyway, I get duplicate Calendar entries for all the major holidays, like Halloween, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, etc. How can I get rid of the second one? When I click on them, one says US Holidays, the other says Holidays in the US.

This issue was discussed on the new Mac group, for Macs, but I don't have that problem. Only on my iPads and iPhone.

Thanks for any suggestions before Yahoo shuts us down.

Thanks to Pat and Linda for helping me solve this problem of duplicate holiday entries in my iPad Calendar app. It has been annoying me for years!

Carol, you probably have subscribed to a couple of holiday calendars. If you tap calendars at the bottom center (at least this is where it is for me on my iPad), it will show you which calendars you are subscribed to, and you can uncheck those which you do not want to see.
