To most investors, what matters more than earning per share, is growth in future.

Google's recent development of software which defeated professional 'go' player, indicates the strength of Alphabet in upcoming area of Artificial Intelligence.

This is a remarkable event, but it is, after all is said and done, a reflection of what large institutional investors think of their stock, and not any kind of *direct* reflection of the company itself.

So I decided to look up some OTHER numbers:
